For many Maine businesses the profile brings in more calls than the website

Google Maps listing for a Maine business

Service Overview

When someone nearby searches for what you do, Google usually shows a map with three businesses above everything else. Which three is decided largely by your Google Business Profile, and most profiles are set up once and never touched again.

This is the work of keeping that profile complete, current and competitive: categories and services, photos and posts, service areas, and a review habit that holds up over time. It is measured with geo-grid rank maps, so you can see where you actually appear across your service area instead of guessing from your own phone.

What profile management covers

Every engagement includes

WHAT WE MANAGE

Four parts of a profile that actually ranks

Profile Optimization

Primary and secondary categories, every service listed with a real description, service areas set to where you work, and a business description that says what you do and where you do it.

Posts and Photos

A regular posting habit and current photos of real work. Profiles that go quiet lose ground to the ones that do not.

Review Management

A practical system for earning reviews steadily instead of in bursts, with every review answered. Reviews are both a ranking factor and the first thing a customer reads.

Google Business Profile Insights

Google shows you what the profile actually produces: how many people saw it, how many clicked through to the site, how many tapped for directions, and how many called straight from the listing. Those numbers tell you which changes earned their place.

HOW THE WORK RUNS

From audit to a steady habit

Profile work is front-loaded. The first month is heavy setup, and after that it settles into a rhythm that keeps the profile from going stale.

HOW IT WORKS

Built as a monthly engagement

Profile Setup and Optimization

A one-time project that rebuilds the profile properly: categories, every service written out, service areas, description, photos and product tiles, benchmarked against the businesses currently ahead of you.

Quoted per project

Ongoing Profile Management

A profile left alone goes stale, and stale profiles slide down the map results. This is the monthly habit that keeps posts, photos, reviews and service details current, reported with geo-grid rank maps.

FAQS

Questions about profile management

Is this different from SEO

Related, but not the same. SEO decides whether your website ranks. Profile management decides whether you appear in the map results, which for a local service business is often where more of the calls come from. Most businesses need both, and they work better together.

Do I keep control of the profile

Always. The profile stays in your Google account and I work as a manager on it. If we stop, you remove my access and nothing else changes.

How many reviews do I need

There is no threshold that flips a switch. What matters more is a steady flow rather than a cluster from two years ago, and that every one gets a reply. A profile still collecting reviews reads as a business that is still busy.

What do impressions, clicks and calls actually tell me

Impressions are how often your profile appeared in Search or Maps. Clicks are the people who went on to your website. Calls and direction requests are the ones who acted straight from the listing without visiting the site at all. Those last two are usually the real return on a profile.
